How to Talk to Your Partner About Justin Bieber's New Song 'Sorry'

Entertainment

You may still be reeling from your recent conversation with your significant other about Justin Bieber’s unclothed wang. Hold on to something sturdy, because now here’s another wrench in contentious Biebz news, albeit from an entirely different point of view.

“Sorry,” his new song produced by Skrillex and Blood (nee Blood Diamonds) is a gleamer of a track that might pertain to the systemic internet takedown of the D pics— “I know that I let you down/is it too late to say sorry now?” Or it could be his way of saying “sorry not sorry” for handing Beliebers a reggaetón-alluding track built on a hefty dembow that’s going on festie playlists. It’s smart, though—Major Lazer’s “Lean On” was leaning into reggaetón riddim territory and it stayed on the top of nearly every Latin American country’s most-played tracks on Spotify for the duration of summer. Looking forward to the J Balvin refix. Purpose, Justin Bieber’s first album as EDM diva, drops November 13.
