Wendy Williams Audience Sings 'Drip Drop' With Empire's Hakeem

Empire‘s Bryshere Gray—aka Hakeem Lyon aka Yazz—appeared on The Wendy Williams Show today in advance of Wednesday’s season finale. Although the interview itself is pretty standard, the best moment is his intro to the soundtrack of “Drip Drop” as the audience loses their minds.

How many times must I call this a hit? What an epic moment. Wendy, of course, goes on to flirt with the young’n, telling him, “I know even though you’re 21 and I’m 50, you like an older woman. I see you sleeping with Naomi Campbell.” Gray’s response, “I don’t discriminate.”

Another highlight: Gray shows off his gaudy Giuseppe sneakers. Wendy calls him Yazzzzzz!

He also talked a little about his sex scenes with Naomi Campbell (“She’s been in the game longer than I’ve been alive”) and says he doesn’t have a girlfriend (“I have a lot of associates”).

As for the Empire finale, Gray… dropped… a minor teaser. “It’s gon’ be some hair being pulled out,” he says. “And you may get to see who gets to run the company.”
