Brad and Angelina Are Pretty, Miserable In Trailer For By the Sea

By the Sea—the upcoming drama Angelina Jolie Pitt wrote, directed, and co-stars in with Brad Pitt—finally has a trailer, and it looks as terrible and self-indulgent as you would expect a big-budget vanity project starring one of the world’s most famous couples to look.

Here’s its official plot description:

Set in France during the mid-1970s, Vanessa, a former dancer, and her husband Roland, an American writer, travel the country together. They seem to be growing apart, but when they linger in one quiet, seaside town they begin to draw close to some of its more vibrant inhabitants, such as a local bar/café-keeper and a hotel owner.
