Following in the footsteps of Nicole Scherzinger (just kidding), Cardi B has signed on to judge a reality show where musicians compete for some kind of as yet undisclosed grand prize.
She’ll join Chance the Rapper and T.I. on the judging panel of Rhythm & Flow, a 10-episode Netflix original series premiering next fall. Deadline says the show will be “aimed at finding the next breakout hip-hop star.”
I was going to make some kind of snarky joke about how the entire musical reality show format doesn’t work anymore and people rarely if ever parlay their appearances into successful musical careers, but then I remembered Cardi B.
