Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals “Wings 2.0,” a HIGHLY COVETED NEW SCENT, is about to ROCK THE FASHION UNIVERSE with its SLIGHTLY UNWIELDY SIZE and SHOE-LIKE APPEARANCE.

The designer, never one to shy from a little repurposing, shaped the perfume exactly like his STOMP, STOMP LIKE A GOLDEN GOD YOU HOT BITCH “Wings 2.0” sneakers. WWD checked in with Scott to really peel back those layers of olfactory inspiration:

WWD: Did you know from the outset that you wanted to make a unisex scent?

J.S.: This all came very organically…It was just like wow, men and women seem to be responding to this scent when I’m wearing it.

WHY WOULD I “WORK” AT THIS WHEN I CAN LITERALLY JUST BOTTLE UP MY PANSEXUAL PHEROMONES IN A PLASTIC SHOE AND EVERYONE WILL FUCKING DIE FOR IT?? ARE YOU SO DEPRESSED THAT YOU AREN’T ME??

WWD: How did you tackle the creative process?

J.S.: I gave some [visual] examples of things like a white towel freshly laundered on a summer’s day. I’m honestly not very astute with flowers and all the kinds of scents.

YOU MEAN DOES IT SMELL GOOD? WHY WE EVEN…TALKING ABOUT SCENT, THAT’S SO EMBARRASSING FOR YOU…THE CONCEPT IS THERE WHICH IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS IN A PERFUME.
