Years ago, your crazy aunt Beverly thought up an idea for a comedy in which a normal game night turns dark when all of a sudden there’s a (fake?) murder. Now her idea is a movie and here’s the trailer.
Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams play a couple united by the lure of competitive trivia (is there anything more exciting?), alongside Chelsea Peretti, New Girl’s Lamorne Morris, and a droll Jesse Plemons, aka the Upside-Down-world Matt Damon. “Someone in this room is going to be taken,” Kyle Chandler says in the weird trailer. “Whoever finds the victim wins the grand prize.” The elevator pitch is: Clue meets Taboo. It’s in theaters February 23.
