R. Kelly’s attorney, publicist, and executive assistant have all reportedly resigned and more may be leaving his team soon.

On Friday, the BBC reported that R. Kelly’s executive assistant of over 10 years, Diana Copeland, has resigned, after she confirmed that she stopped working with Kelly as of April 1. BBC also reports that R. Kelly’s entertainment attorney of four years, Linda Mensch, has resigned. And Rolling Stone reports that the artist’s publicist, Trevian Kutti, resigned on April 16.

Mensch additionally told Rolling Stone in a statement that her “resignation was unrelated to any allegations related to Mr. Kelly’s social life.” More resignations may be coming, according to a source who spoke with the BBC.

The departures come not long after a criminal complaint against Kelly was filed by a Dallas woman who alleges that Kelly gave her an STD during an eight-month relationship that she said started when she was 19 years old.

For decades, Kelly faced allegations of sexual misconduct, including his 2008 child pornography trial for which he was acquitted. In July 2017, BuzzFeed News reporter Jim DeRogatis reported on allegations that Kelly was holding several young women in a “cult” against their will. The story included interviews with former employees and the parents of the women. Another woman corroborated the claims in an interview with Jezebel. R. Kelly has consistently denied the allegations.

Jezebel has reached out to Trevian Kutti for comment and will update this post if we hear back.
