Made in Staten Island and Mob Wives Stars on Gender and Power in Mob Circles

EntertainmentTV

For six seasons, Mob Wives gave viewers an inside look at what life is like for women whose families have been involved in organized crime. Now alum Karen Gravano is back as an executive producer of MTV’s Made in Staten Island. The reality show features her daughter Karina Seabrook alongside three other Staten Island teens with similar upbringings.

Karen and Karina sat down with Jezebel to discuss how expectations for men and women differ in organized crime circles and the different ways in which their generations feel the lasting impacts of a mob-adjacent lifestyle.
