Mariah Carey released an unnecessary lyric video for her new single âInfinity,â a breakup song that fully exorcises a love once thought eternal whose name might be Nick Cannon.
Iâm not feeling it! In her pantheon of records aimed at ainât-shit dudesâsee: the entirety of Memoirs Of An Imperfect AngelââInfinityâ seems like a lesser version of âItâs A Wrapâ or âH.A.T.E.U.â Mariah has a way of delivering childish, cutting comebacks with a certain delicate rage, and the best of her breakup-ballad lyrics tend to embrace juvenile spite.
Unfortunately, these are some of her weakest disses:
âWhy you mad? Talking âbout you mad?/ Could it be that you just lost the best you ever had?â
âBoy, you actinâ so corny like Fritos/ Wouldnât have none of that without me, though/ Ainât none of my business, itâs tea thoughâ
âEverything you own, boy, you still oweâ
In any case, it seems like Mariah is in full petty form leading up to her Vegas residency.
