Max Greenfield Will Have His Mind Read by Taraji P. Henson in What Men Want

Entertainment

In November it was announced to much fanfare that the great Taraji P. Henson would star in a gender-flipped remake of What Women Want called, what else, What Men Want (which could have also been the title of the original 2000 version, directed by Nancy Meyers and starring Mel Gibson).

Now actor Max Greenfield, who’s finishing off his final season of New Girl, has signed up to have his mind read by Henson, Deadline reported on Tuesday. The remake also stars Tracy Morgan and is directed by Adam Shankman.

Deadline also hinted at what the remake might look like: “Henson plays a woman boxed out of the sports agents profession but gains an unexpected edge when she can hear their thoughts. She uses this to her advantage and races to sign the NBA’s next superstar.” Variety reported that Greenfield will play an “arrogant sports agent,” hence I have no doubt his innermost thoughts will be legible.

The twist should be that women could read men’s minds all along seeing as typically they’re transparent as hell and never miss an opportunity to voice their opinions. Plenty of women would like the male voices to subside, please.

What Men Want opens in theaters January, 2019.
