The potential of Ryan Murphy's upcoming horror-comedy series Scream Queens has just sky-rocketed with the addition of incredibly funny Niecy Nash. She joins Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Lea Michele, Joe Manganiello and—you know what? It might be easier to name who's not in the cast (Paul Sorvino, the American Sniper baby and...that's it).

Of the series, Murphy remarks, "We hope to create a whole new genre—comedy-horror—and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads. We've already begun a nationwide search for those women, as well as 10 other supporting roles..."

Say what you will about Ryan Murphy, but the guy certainly has a talent for highlighting incredible female actresses...and Emma Roberts.

Nash will be playing the role of a security guard at a college where several murders have been committed. Making this exciting news even better: We know she looks good in uniform.

Awesome news! But I'm still pissed about that whole "we shall create a new genre, called comedy-horror! No one has ever done such a thing before!" thing.
