I just wanted to tell you that the soundtrack for A Star Is Born debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Billboard points out that this gives “Gaga her fifth chart-topper and Cooper his first.” Thank you Billboard. Overall, the soundtrack sold 231,000 equivalent album units according to Nielsen music, and it’s the best week for a soundtrack since the first Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack. And just after one week it’s become one of the best-selling soundtracks of the entire year (it’s now right behind the Black Panther and Greatest Showman soundtrack.)

Crazy to think that Bradley Cooper and Gaga will probably win a Grammy for, at the very least, “The Shallow” and then Cooper can pee on stage for real!
