Disney’s Pixar just announced the casting of several leading voice roles in its next film, Onward.
The film, which Pixar has previously, cryptically referred to as a “suburban fantasy,” will star Chris Pratt, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Octavia Spencer, and Tom Holland, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Director Dan Scanlon (Monsters Uninversity) and producer Kori Rae will helm the project. “At Pixar we try to create stories that come from some kind of personal truth,” said Scanlon, who was raised in Michigan. “This film was inspired by my own relationship with my brother.”
To that point, The Hollywood Reporter also mentions that the film “centers on two teen elf brothers who go on a quest to discover if there is still magic left in the world.” You can expect this movie to be in theaters on March 6, 2020. That all sounds sweet let’s do this!
