This May Be the Last Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Trailer You Ever See (But Also Maybe Not)

EntertainmentMovies

After a wildly successful four seasons, Netflix is getting ready to release the final six episodes of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on January 25. Sad, but is there anything more beautiful than a series ending before it stretches on too long? I mean aside from a well-made breakfast taco? No. A new trailer suggests that the show will get the send-off it deserves.

According to Deadline, the remaining six episodes will include an hourlong Sliding Doors situation exploring how different everyone’s lives would be if Kimmy had never been kidnapped, as well as a range of guest stars, including Jon Hamm, Busy Philipps, Amy Sedaris, Fred Armisen, Ronan Farrow (as himself), Lisa Kudrow, and a bunch more.

Robert Carlock, who created the show along with Tina Fey, previously said the last episodes would wrap up a cliffhanger in which Kimmy et al. were being filmed, and that Titus’s love life and “and the larger arc of Kimmy finding her way and finding herself” will also be concluded. That said, there are rumors afoot of a standalone movie, so there may be more mileage out of this thing yet. Isn’t there always?
