Tiffany Haddish Will Star in Tyler Perry's Next Movie, The List

On Monday, Variety reported that Tiffany Haddish has officially signed on to appear in Tyler Perry’s next film, The List. She will star alongside Tika Sumpter and Omari Hardwick.

Not much is known at the film, but Variety included a very brief synopsis of the project in its report: “When her wild sister (Haddish) gets released from prison and re-enters her life, Danica (Sumpter) is forced to accept that she may be getting ‘catfished’ by an online boyfriend whom she has never met in person.”

Haddish, of course, already has plenty of work and promoting of said work lined up. She’ll soon appear in Universal’s Night School, alongside Kevin Hart, and in the TBS sitcom The Last OG with Tracy Morgan, and in New Line’s forthcoming drama The Kitchen.

Paramount has set November 2, 2018 as the The List’s release date.
