Lifetime released an extended trailer for its upcoming Toni Braxton biopic Unbreak My Heart and it doesn’t look as bad as the network’s previous attempts at biopics.

The trailer storyline does follow a similar sappy half-tragic, half-inspiring formula as Lifetime’s previous terrible biopic on Aaliyah and the slightly better Whitney Houston movie. But Braxton’s story (starring Lex Scott Davis as Toni Braxton) looks like it’ll be a less painful (perhaps boring) watch, focusing on Toni’s career as a superb vocalist and antithesis to the sexed-up pop star—“You don’t sell sex. You sell pain,” says one record exec in the trailer. (May I suggest listening to her incredibly slept-on Libra album if you haven’t yet.)

The movie also addresses Braxton’s bankruptcy and lupus diagnosis and features a dude (actor Gavin Houston) playing Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds who is literally Babyface reincarnate.

I see that title, and all I can think about is an episode of Got 2B Real where Mary J. Blige says to Toni Braxton, “You need to stop singin’ ‘Unbreak My Heart and start singin’ ‘Unbounce My Checks.’” Then Aretha Franklin chimes in with, “Unbounce my check say I’m not in debt.”
