Janelle Monáe Finds Her Flow in New Track 'Yoga' 

“Yoga,” a new single from Janelle Monáe featuring Jidenna, comes to us from Monáe’s upcoming five-track Eephus EP.

The first new song from Monáe since her transcendent 2013 album, The Electric Lady, “Yoga” is a gorgeous, rippling dance track that weaves in the full-throated harmonies she does so well with perfectly off-kilter lyrics. “You cannot police me, so get off my areola,” Monáe warns, in what MIGHT be the best line of 2015 and/or all time.

The Eephus project is a compilation EP featuring tracks from other artists on Monáe’s Wondaland label (Roman GianArthur, Deep Cotton, St. Beauty), including Jidenna’s exuberant new single, Classic Man. Eephus is scheduled to arrive this summer.
