Rihanna's Dior Ad Will Feature a New Song, 'Only If For a Night'!

Entertainment

Rihanna looks glorious in her long-awaited Dior ads, which dropped this week and features her as the first-ever black muse for the iconic label. But let’s not bury the lede: the accompanying video, which drops Monday, May 18, will be soundtracked by “Only If For a Night,” a song from her forthcoming album. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The ad campaign is called “Secret Garden IV” and was shot by Steven Klein in the Palace of Versailles. According to WWD, the Dior film “follows her through the Salons of the Gods and dancing in the Hall of Mirrors” and, once again, will be soundtracked by “Only If For a Night,” a song from her forthcoming album. YOOOOOOOOO!

Sidney Toledano, Dior’s CEO, told WWD that Rihanna’s appeal for the campaign is that she is “a goddess but accessible. The way she moves is part of the young generation.” In the ads, she’s wearing pieces from Raf Simons’ brilliant Esprit Dior pre-fall 2015 collection, and is styled by Mel Ottenberg, her longtime personal stylist and The Master of all those looks you and I wish to cop. Additionally, the film accompanying this collection will be soundtracked by “Only If For a Night,” a new song from Rihanna’s forthcoming album. EEEEEEEEP!

UPDATE: Rihanna has added another clip from the song/advert to her Instagram:

This has been a miniature dispatch from the field of the Rihanna Rihport.
