Illustration for article titled This Spanish Version of Hotline Bling Is Better Than Drakes

So, I heard that Miley Cyrus dropped a 23-track Soundcloud album inspired by that one time Wayne Coyne was her dog or something, and I just can’t wait to get to it—the whole thing doesn’t sound exhausting in the slightest—but first let me sneak in 15-20 listens of this Spanish remix of Drake’s terrific sadboy shuffle jam “Hotline Bling,” via @fivefifths. Drake’s track seemed to borrow the majority of its backing from D.R.A.M.’s “Cha Cha,” the best track of late summer 2014, but never admitted to being the remix that it seemed; this version, from Dominican-American singer and Pitbull signee Fuego, brings the track back in line with its tipico vibes.

I was waiting for you to do a write up of the Miley Cyrus album. I’m trying to listen to it at work but it is just SO. BORING. Everything about Miley bores me, but Bangerz was so good that I figured there must be at least one or two listenable songs on this album.

But nope. It’s 23 songs of woozy space rock that all prolly sound great while high but while sitting in a cubicle it’s making zero impact on me

Also, it just really reminds me of my ex. He was really boring too.
